ak fire season is blowing up already. we just got back from a 24 day roll. highlights included but were not limited to, shooting two bears in our camp, sitting in the center of a lightning storm, seeing the lonely owl on a fire and doing the 4, 4, 30 challenge with him (drink 4 quarts of water in 4 minutes and hold it down for 30 seconds. both puked), protecting a crazy old man's cabin that had a small arsenal including a 50 cal semi automatic rifle that he had used a couple days prior to blast a giant grizzly, a shed of an unknown tonnage of gun powder and thousands of rounds of ammo.
